2009 Public Forum on Tuition/Fees
and
Trustee Business Meeting

The Indiana University Board of Trustees conducted a public hearing on Thursday, July 16, to hear student and public comment on proposed tuition and fees to be set for all IU campuses for the next two years. The hearing was held in the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Campus Center.

IU officials outlined proposed tuition and fee rates for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 academic years and described how these additional revenues will be used to maintain and improve academic quality. Members of the public posed questions from the audience, as well as by phone and via e-mail.

Shortly after the tutition forum was concluded, trustees convened a business meeting in the same location and heard a presentation from IU officials about a proposed budget plan for the 2009-2010 academic year. Both sessions were streamed live and archived streams of those meetings are available below.
