"Genomics - And All That It Means"Ora Hirsch Pescovitz - Executive Associate Dean for Research Affairs, Indiana University School of MedicineDr. Pescovitz joined the IU faculty in 1988. She has been the director of pediatric endrocrinology and diabetology at Indiana University since 1990, and in 2000 she became the executive associate dean for research affairs at the IU School of Medicine. She is a member of the Indiana Genomics Initiative Executive Committee and serves as the chair of the Indiana Genomics Initiative, established at IU in 2000. Dr. Pescovitz is past president of the Society for Pediatric Research, the world's largest pediatric research organization, and serves on various committees with the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Edocrine Society, and the Lawson Wilkins Pediatric Endocrine Society.
