On Thursday, Oct. 26, His Excellency Francois Bujon de l'Estang visited Indiana University Bloomington. The French ambassador to the United States delivered a lecture on the state of the European Union and the Priorities of the French Presidency. As seen above, Ambassador de l'Estang (left) also awarded France's highest academic honor, the Commandeur dans l'Ordre day Palmes Academiques, to Albert Valdman, the Rudy Professor of French and Italian and Linguistics at IU.
