Lecture by environmental journalist, activist and author Mark Hertsgaard

Just in time for Earth Day, this audio stream features a lecture by renowned environmental journalist, activist and author Mark Hertsgaard. Hertsgaard, who recently visited IU, speaks about a six-year, 19-nation journey he undertook to assess the state of the world's environment and to gain an understanding of the complex cultural and social forces that complicate our ability to find solutions to environmental challenges. He proposes a plan, called the Global Green Deal, aimed at meeting these challenges.
