Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability for the 21st Century: the Role of Education

On Friday, September 19, 2003 Professor David Orr delivered a lecture sponsored by the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Program at Indiana University Bloomington and the Council for Environmental Stewardship. Orr is professor and chair of the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College. He is, perhaps, best known for his pioneering work on environmental literacy in higher education and his recent work in ecological design.
