"Babies by Design? The Ethics of Gene Enhancement"
Professor, Ronald M. Green delivered the lecture "Babies by Design? The Ethics of Gene Enhancement," at Indiana University Bloomington on February 23, 2006. At Dartmouth College Dr. Green is a professor of religion and director of the Institute for the Study of Applied and Professional Ethics. He also teaches bioethics and reproductive ethics in Dartmouth's school of medicine.
Professor Green's lecture was the 2006 Matthew Vandivier Sims Memorial Lecture, which was presented by the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions and the family and friends of Matthew, who died in infancy.
