President Adam Herbert introduces the first recipients of 60 scholarships, created by a $15 million gift from Indianapolis businessman and philanthropist Jesse Cox and his late wife Beulah.

The president also reveals that a new anonymous gift of $70 million will also fund scholarships. The donation is the largest ever made to the university for the single purpose of creating student scholarships. It is expected to create about 700 new scholarships for mostly Indiana residents.
