Thoughts & feelings shared at IU Forum on US tragedy

To provide an opportunity for IU and surrounding communities to meet and discuss the tragedies that occurred in New York and Washington, D.C., on September 11, Union Board sponsored an open forum on the Bloomington campus on September 12. The televised forum, which took place in Alumni Hall of the Indiana Memorial Union, featured IU President Myles Brand and faculty panelists who made opening remarks and then encouraged questions. The subsequent discussion addressed issues ranging from gas prices and economic instability to community and national responses to terrorism.
