50th Anniversary of IU Press - Lecture by Michael DirdaMichael Dirda visited Bloomington recently to speak to a gathering celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Indiana University Press. Dirda, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism and a well-known writer and editor, is Senior Editor of the Washington Post Book World and an author of many respected books including a current one published by Indiana University Press, "Readings: Essays and Literary Entertainments." His love of books, his enjoyment for scholarly pursuit, and his sense of humor produced a lively talk on the state of publishing. Mr Dirda was introduced by Peter-John Leone, Director of Indiana University Press.
