2004 Kelley Business Conference
On Wednesday, March 3, 2004 the Indiana University Kelley School of Business presented its 58th annual Business Conference in Indianapolis. The theme for this year's conference was Leading Change: Reinventing the Organization.
Speakers included the leader of a company few believed could survive a highly visible corporate crisis, a Hoosier proponent of entrepreneurship and the nation's second-highest-ranking military officer.
John T. Lampe, outgoing chairman of the board, CEO and president of Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc., spoke about "Leadership in Challenging Times."
Steven J. Beck, president of the Indiana Venture Center, spoke about "The Renaissance of Entrepreneurship in Indiana."
General Peter Pace, United States Marine Corps and vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke about "Leading Change in the U.S. Military."
Samuel A. DiPiazza Jr., Global CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers, spoke about "Managing Risk During Times of Significant Change."
