Years of hard work culminate today as we celebrate at the Indiana University Northwest Commencement and the newest class of graduates. The day is a tribute to student achievement and the promising futures our graduates have built through dedication.
The ceremony incorporates several honored traditions that mark the transition from student to professional, beginning with a procession led by a Grand Marshal bearing the IU mace. A deeply significant moment is the conferral of degrees, marked by the tradition of moving the tassel from the right side of the cap to the left. We wish our newest alumni the best on this memorable day, joined by the family and friends who supported them on the journey. These graduates are now a vital part of IU’s continuing story, committed to excellence and focused on making a difference.
