Indiana University Bloomington holds each of its students in high esteem and takes an added measure of pride in those who show sustained academic excellence over time. The IU Bloomington Honors Convocation recognizes outstanding seniors and other academically distinguished students. It is an occasion for students and their families to come together and be recognized by faculty and staff for their hard work, dedication, and achievements as IU Indy's top scholars. During the Honors Convocation, senior Founders Scholars and senior Hutton Honors College Notation recipients are individually recognized. Other Founders Scholars and scholars from select programs are acknowledged as a group.
