Dr. Aaron E. Carroll is a pediatrician and professor of pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine and the Regenstrief Institute. At IU he is also vice chair for health policy and outcomes research and the director of the Center for Health Policy and Professionalism Research. Carroll is a health-related research writer for The New York Times who uses research to debunk myths about popular topics. He blogs on health research and policy at The Incidental Economist and makes videos at Healthcare Triage. He is the author of “The Bad Food Bible: How and Why to Eat Sinfully.”
