Indiana University President Michael McRobbie and other university leaders traveled to Africa. David Zaret, Vice President for International Affairs, spoke on Wednesday, September 25 about that recent trip. Following Zaret's talk, there were opportunities for questions and informal conversation with members of the IU delegation, who are especially eager to welcome those who have a continuing interest in Africa and its cultures.
IU President Michael McRobbie, accompanied by his wife, Laurie Burns McRobbie, and Zaret, visited Ghana, Kenya and South Africa in early September, to strengthen IU's connections with leading universities, meet with political leaders and renew ties with IU alumni.
