Eric Weitz, Dean of Humanities & Arts and Professor of History at the City University of New York, presented “Borderlands and Bloodlands: Rethinking the Mass Violence of the Twentieth Century in Eastern Europe" the fifth lecture in the Global Perspectives Speaker Series at Indiana University on September 17th.
The speaker series is an initiative of the new School of Global and International Studies in IU's College of Arts and Sciences. The theme of the series for the spring semester is "Coexistence and Conflict Mediation Across the Globe."
