Indiana University Bloomington Provost and Executive Vice President Lauren Robel delivered her inaugural State of the Campus address at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 in Franklin Hall's Presidents Hall. Robel discussed academic initiatives at IU Bloomington in the global context of higher education.
The provost discussed the IU Bloomington Campus Strategic Plan, a comprehensive document developed by 167 faculty members, staff and students and dedicated to envisioning a third century of academic excellence for Indiana University. Team members worked to develop aspects of the plan in areas such as graduate and undergraduate education, excellence in research and creative activity, faculty renewal, international initiatives and interdisciplinary initiatives.
