Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Chancellor Nasser H. Paydar presided over the dedication of North Hall, the first traditional residence hall constructed at IUPUI since the campus was founded in 1969.
The residence hall has been intentionally designed to promote student interaction through the creation of welcoming common spaces, including a grand lobby and microlounges throughout each residential floor. The 172,000-square-foot building provides housing for 700 students. The building also features a computer lab, a game room, a fitness area, a laundry facility, a large programming area and two classrooms.
