To celebrate the living legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Indiana University Bloomington hosts a Leadership Breakfast featuring keynote speaker John Quiñones, ABC News correspondent and the host of the acclaimed television program “What Would You Do?”. On the hidden-camera newsmagazine show, Quiñones illustrates how ordinary people can spark change by intervening in challenging scenarios involving the dynamics of ethics, race, class, gender, and other factors.
During his 35-year career as a broadcast journalist and network television anchor, Quiñones has won a litany of awards for his work, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition, a Peabody Award, and seven Emmy Awards. The San Antonio, Texas, native is also a motivational speaker and author of “Heroes Among Us: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Choices,” and the recently released “What Would You Do? Words Of Wisdom About Doing The Right Thing.”
