One of the favorite traditions of IU’s Weeks of Welcome is the “Traditions and Spirit of IU” event, hosted each year by FYE and IU Athletics. With this event, we welcome our newest Hoosiers to the IU family in a loud, proud and fun way. 

While we can’t all gather together – yet - in Memorial Stadium or Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, we are so excited to introduce you to the familiar sights, sounds, and cheers that come with being an Indiana Hoosier. Sing and cheer along with past generations of Hoosiers as you join us for a virtual presentation of one of IU’s proud traditions – and watch for announcements and updates for when we may be able to celebrate these and other traditions together.
